The Independent Study and Mentorship (ISM) Program is a highly selective course offered at Frisco High School. Once the application is completed, students must complete the interview process. If the student is selected, he or she chooses a topic to research, which must then gain approval from faculty. The student next interviews professionals to gain primary information on their topic. They also must find a mentor over the course of the semester. Eventually, the student creates a final product which is a culmination of all of their research (both primary and secondary).
