Hello there! This week is going to be hectic because.....drumroll please..... I have to start my presentation board.
So far, I have nothing. That sounds bad, but I have already planned out my display board on Canva. I just need to start buying supplies. First, I need to buy the presentation board and rubber cement. I have already checked multiple places (did you know CVS has trifolds?) for presentation boards, but I am a bit confused on what size to get. Additionally, I want a blue presentation board, which I have not found yet. I am planning to go to Hobby Lobby this evening, and I plan on getting the rest of my supplies from there. I also need to buy cardstock, presentation letters, and I need to print my materials. Hopefully, I get all the materials today, and get finish by the end of this week.
Additionally, this past week has provided clarity for my final product. During my first mentor visit with Dr. Mendoza, we went over my idea for a research paper, and she suggested that I create something else, such as a pre-operative checklist. I agreed with her suggestion because I had chosen the research paper because I felt like my peers were doing so much for their original work, while I created a simple pamphlet. However, with Dr. Mendoza's guidance, I realized that everyone chose different topics, and thus had different limits to their creations.
